Who we are
Plentry is the trading name of Sam Brown, a sole trader at 1 Spratt Hall Road, London E11 2RQ. Sam decides how your information is used and is responsible for it. Questions, or anything below you want to act on: support@plentry.co.uk. Our terms cover what you're buying.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you ask to see your week.
- Your answers to the questions: who's eating (children by age band, never by name), which meals, how long you have to cook, what you like and your budget.
- Allergies and intolerances you tell us about. We use these for one thing only: keeping those foods out of your plan and your shopping.
- Health goals, only if you choose to add them, and only with a separate yes from you.
- Your name, delivery address and phone number, when you book.
- Your plans, swaps, ratings and orders, and how you use the app, so the next week fits better.
Why, and on what basis
- To plan, buy and deliver your food and email you about your orders: because you asked us to (our contract with you).
- Allergies, intolerances and any health goals: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app or by email.
- Marketing emails: only if you ticked the box. Unsubscribe from any of them.
- Making the service better, for example which meals get swapped most: our legitimate interest in running a good service.
Who we share it with
- Sainsbury's delivers your shop. Your name, delivery address and phone number are saved to our Sainsbury's account so their driver can find you. Sainsbury's handles them under its own privacy policy.
- Stripe takes payments and keeps your card.
- Supabase hosts our database, in London.
- Vercel hosts the website and app.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Anthropic helps write recipes. It gets your food preferences and dietary needs, never your name, email or address.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records: six years, because tax law requires it. Everything else: while you're a customer and for twelve months after you leave, then deleted. If you gave us an email but never ordered, we delete it after twelve months. Allergies, intolerances and health goals are deleted as soon as you leave or withdraw consent.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email support@plentry.co.uk and we'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
